In India, the Vivo X80 Pro is now available for Rs 79,999 for the only ’12GB RAM + 256GB storage’ model. In contrast, the Vivo X80’s 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 54,999 upwards.
X80, Vivo’s latest flagship series, has been unveiled for Indian consumers. Continuing the Zeiss cooperation established in the preceding X60 and X70 series, the new X Series will be camera-centric.
The X80 Pro will compete with other high-end flagships like the OnePlus 10 Pro, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Apple’s iPhone 13, and Samsung Galaxy S22 series. There will be two versions of this phone: one powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the other by Mediatek’s Dimensity 900.
A specialized V1+ imaging chipset and T-Star coating on the camera lenses are also included in both devices from Samsung. Zeiss certifies the latter. Zeiss certifies the latter. The camera software also contains a new cinematic video mode, developed in partnership with Zeiss, which is included in the camera.

Vivo X80 Specifications
FHD+ resolution (1,080×2,400 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 1000 nits of peak brightness are all included in the vanilla version of the 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display.
The Vivo X80 is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 9000 processor. An LPDDR5 memory module and a 256GB UFS 3.1 drive are included with the chipset. The phone has a 4500mAh battery and can be charged at 80W using the rapid charging feature.
There are three rear cameras on the X80, including a 50MP Sony IMX866 sensor, a wide-angle Sony IMX663 sensor, and an ultra-telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom on the Sony IMX663.

Vivo X80 Pro Specifications
There is an E5 10-bit AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,440×3,200 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and an immediate touch sampling rate of 1000Hz on the Vivo X80 Pro.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which is combined with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The X80 Pro runs FunTouch OS, which is based on Android 12. The phone has a 4700mAH battery that supports 80W fast charging, 50W fast wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging capabilities.
On the optics front, the X80 Pro has a quad-camera back system. OIS and an f/1.57 aperture lens accompany the 50MP Samsung GNV sensor at the heart of the camera system.
Three more cameras are included in the setup: a 48MP wide-angle sensor, a 12MP 50mm telephoto lens with gimbal stabilization, and an 8MP periscope lens with 5X optical and 60X digital zooms. The phone sports a 32 MP front-facing camera for taking selfies.
There are 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1 + L5 Dual Band), and USB Type-C connectivity on the Vivo X80 Pro. The CS43131 Hi-Fi AMP is included in the X80 Pro’s stereo speakers, which may be used to stream audio through USB C. In addition, the smartphone has an IPX69 grade for water and dust protection.

Vivo’s main online shop, Flipkart, as well as offline stores, will carry both smartphones when they go on sale in India on May 25. The Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro are available in Cosmic Black and Urban Blue, respectively, while the Vivo X80 Pro is only available in Cosmic Black.
