Story Of Obi-Wan Kenobi

Even though Revenge of the Sith takes place ten years after it, Lucasfilm CEO Kathleen Kennedy teased that we’ll see the “rematch of the century” in the sequel. as you take this character’s adventure with you. “It was also a significant moment for me,” I said.

McGregor has stated that Obi-final Wan’s mission after the events of the prequels is to protect Luke Skywalker. Tatooine appears to be the setting for the show’s main events, while the show’s director Deborah Chow revealed during Disney Plus Day that this is simply the beginning of its storyline.

Chow told Total Film in the Obi-Wan issue: “We do start on Tatooine, and then we leave it – I wanted to get off Tatooine.” Visually, I’ve always appreciated the opportunity to visit new planets and experience something fresh, whether it’s in Star Wars or not. New worlds and galaxies await. To counterbalance our story’s overwhelming reliance on history, we needed something new to add to the mix.”

As a prequel to A New Hope, the series will show how Obi-Wan evolved into a vigilant guardian of Tatooine following the events of Order 66. Palpatine’s rise to power is also taken into consideration. The existence of the Inquisitors could lead to Obi-Wan being increasingly isolated and reliant on the support of his fellow Padawans. All of this, combined with Vader’s anticipated training and harnessing of his Dark Side powers, makes for an exciting battle in unknown terrain.

There will be some familiar faces (or at least helmets) returning to the octagon, according to McGregor. In the past, I’d worked with CGI Clone Troopers, but I’d never worked with a real one. “I have never worked with stormtroopers,” he said to Total Film. “It felt like I was seven years old again.” Seeing a Stormtrooper up close, brandishing a weapon is a surreal experience.”

Several cast members have given us a taste of what to expect from the show after filming wrapped. “We haven’t seen this precise thing in Star Wars yet,” Kumail Nanjiani stated in an interview with Rolling Stone about his character. It’s “like a new version of a type of Star Wars character” that we’ve already seen.

Bottom Line

We hope that this series is more entertaining and surprising than the previous Star Wars series. An updated poster for the series was released on February 10th, and it was confirmed that Obi-Wan Kenobi will premiere on Disney+Hotstar on May 25th, 2022 (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, English).
